Sparkle's Fund Guidelines
Basic guidelines to apply:
Sparkle’s Fund cannot help if any of the following are true:
Sparkle’s Fund is a very small organization. Unfortunately, we may have to say "no" much more frequently than we say "yes". Because of this, our resources are allocated to non-profit animal rescues who are 501c3 and government animal shelter based in the U.S. Priority will be given to Pitbulls in Chatham County, NC, and dogs whose life is in near-immediate danger.
It is also important to NOTE: Sparkle’s Fund does *not* consider reimbursement situations of any kind. If you have already paid your Veterinarian for services, please seek other arrangements for assistance.
- You must be a 501c3 Non-Profit Rescue or government animal shelter based in the U.S.
- You must be seeking funds for a Pitbull; funds are limited to $200 per Pittie (until we are able to raise more funds to help treat all the animals)
- Must have a current diagnosis and treatment plan from a veterinarian. Sparkle’s Fund cannot pay for office exams or testing
- Treatment must have a good or favorable outcome.
- If a grant is awarded, the grant recipient must be willing to provide updates and photos to Sparkle’s Fund. Pictures may be shared with our supporters in print and online. Upon request, we are happy to change identifying information.
Sparkle’s Fund cannot help if any of the following are true:
- The animal has received all of their treatment.
- The animal’s needs are for:
- ongoing conditions or treatments (such as chemotherapy/radiation, special diets, Cushing's)
- testing or diagnostic work (such as X-rays, MRI, or blood work)
- routine care (such as non-emergency spay/neuter, vaccinations, or annual exams)
- a follow-up visit after main treatment is done
